Thursday, May 17, 2012:You know how telethons come on TV once a year to ask for donations for a worthy cause? Yea, well... I'm asking all you Live Music HQ fans and bands for a donation now too. However, this is not the monetary kind (although -- those are GREATLY appreciated as well, albeit rarely seen). This is a request for a donation of your time.
I'd like to ask each and every one of you to spend just 10 minutes of your time - right now - to send an e-mail to any bands or venues that you know of that are OUTSIDE of SoCal and let them know about Live Music HQ. Tell them it is FREE shameless promotion!!!
Since expanding this site from a SoCal-only site (as SoCalRocks.com) into a national site, there are still only a handful of non-SoCal bands/events on the site -- out of close to 500 bands! So, PLEASE help me to help you get more eyes on this site. All it takes is 10 minutes of your time.
