 Catering to LIVE music fans, Live Music HQ was initially created (as SoCalRocks.com) in February 2003 by drummer/guitarist Loren Scott as a central point of contact for his fellow SoCal performing musicians, the venues that book them, and the fans that love to see them perform. In August of 2011, SoCalRocks.com was updated to support events all across the country and the site was officially redubbed Live Music HQ. When live music fans want to know where to spend their music-filled nights, Live Music HQ tells them where the action is before heading out for the night!
When you -- the live music fan -- visit Live Music HQ, you can be confident that the info you are seeing is up-to-date. All past events are automatically removed from the site every night at midnight. Classified ads are automatically deleted from the site 30 days after they were posted unless the poster renews them. Any band that does not list a live performance at least once every 90 days is removed from the listing. Same for venues -- no live events for 90 days and you are outta here!
- Working bands can add their info and list their upcoming events here -- at no charge -- so their fans (and, more importantly, potential NEW fans) can find out where they are playing next. Add your band HERE!
