Regarding advertising on Live Music HQ (www.LiveMusicHQ.com), there are two general options available:

• Free classified ads
• Paid banner ads

The formal rate sheet PDF for the banner ads is being updated (as I get time) but, in general, the current rates are as follows:

• For a small (250 pixel-wide and up to 100 pixels high) banner on the Home page - $35/mo.
• For a medium (250 pixel-wide and up to 250 pixels high) banner on the Home page - $60/mo.
• For a large (250 pixel-wide and up to 500 pixels high) banner on the Home page - $100/mo.

After the Home page, the Artist profile pages (ex: http://www.livemusichq.com/viewartist.asp?Artist=Heartless) and the Venue profile pages (ex: http://www.livemusichq.com/viewvenue.asp?ID=315) are the next most popular pages on the site (as many regular visitors to the site tend to bookmark the page for their favorite venue/artist. Each of these two profile pages (venue and artist) are the same actual pages that are dynamically populated with data for the specific artist or venue.  So, any ads placed on the View Artist page will be seen regardless of which artist's page is being view. Similarly, any ads placed on the View Venue page will be seen regardless of the venue.

• For a small (250 pixel-wide and up to 100 pixels high) banner on the Artist or Venue profile page - $30/mo.
• For a medium (250 pixel-wide and up to 250 pixels high) banner on the Artist or Venue profile page - $50/mo.
• For a large (250 pixel-wide and up to 500 pixels high) banner on the Artist or Venue profile page - $85/mo.

On the Classified pages, besides the free text classifieds, there are also spots available for banner ads on the side columns (left/right - 250px wide) or in the center column (up to 728px wide) - similar to the ad for Murrieta Academy of Music that appears above the free classifieds within the "Services / Lessons" section.  The prices for these depend on whether the ad only appears within a specific section of the classifieds or on all pages within the classifieds:

• For a small (250 pixel-wide and up to 100 pixels high) banner - $20/mo. (1 section) or $30/mo. (all sections)
• For a medium (250 pixel-wide and up to 250 pixels high) banner  - $35/mo. (1 section) or $50/mo. (all sections)
• For a large (250 pixel-wide and up to 500 pixels high) banner - $50/mo. (1 section) or $85/mo. (all sections)
• For a wide horizontal (728 x 90) banner center column - $40/mo. (1 section) or $60/mo. (all sections)

There are other spots on the site with some ad space as well, but, the info above is the main bit. Quotes for other spots can be provided as requested.

The site has been live since February 2003 and currently averages over 100,000 page views per month in peak (Summer) months and dips to about half that during the mid-Winter months.  However, I have just recently updated the site from being just SoCal-based (with filters by SoCal counties) to now allow for filtering of events by proximity (in miles) from a specified ZIP Code anywhere in the country. So, as the word spreads and bands across the country add their events to the site, the hits on the site should rise considerably.

To place your ad, you must provide:

• the ad image file (GIF, JPG, or PNG format) in the exact size to be displayed
• the exact URL that you want viewers to be directed to when then the ad is clicked
• the page(s) within the site that you wish the ad to be displayed

If you require graphic design assistance to prepare your ad, this can be offered as well on a custom-quoted basis.

Payment for ads is billed in advance (via PayPal e-invoices) and the initial billing period is for three-months, with month-to-month billing thereafter with no contracted minimum term. In other words, after the initial three-month term, it's just pay-as-you-go monthly.
